We had a dream: the dream of a family vacation
in South Africa: affordable, authentic, varied.
A vacation that is not just us adults
as experienced South Africa fans, but also ours
two children. A stay that is fun - and longer than just three days.
In a place that captures and reflects the diversity of South Africa:
The breathtakingly diverse flora and fauna, the culinary delights,
the uniquely varied landscape and the people, whose warmth is hard to beat.
As intensely as we searched, we couldn't find a place where this dream could be realized
as we would have liked. So we decided to make it a reality ourselves.
The result is the Pure Nature Lodge - right on the fence of the Addo Elephant National Park in the malaria-free Eastern Cape.
Founded for people who long to experience a vacation in harmony with untouched nature and wild animals.

We have been welcoming guests since October 2015. Most of them liked it so much that many guests come to us every year in the meantime and spend their holidays here.
To be honest, one has to say that they are spending a "special" holiday on us: You will get a family connection with all the trimmings.
It's definitely not for everyone, but most people like it!
