The travel preparations clearly include the provisions for the visa. You can find the latest information on the website of the Federal Foreign Office. The regulations for children must be observed!
Route planning:
That's probably the hardest part. Where should it go, what do I want to see and how long do I stay in one place?
I know that this decision is really not an easy one!
Here is my personal advice: Please don't make the mistake of only staying in one place for a night or two.
Often it looks like this:
You arrive in the afternoon, check in, go to eat, then sleep, get up the next morning, have breakfast and then it's off again ...
You see so little of the individual beautiful regions.
Each region has its beauties and these must be discovered!
Ask your hosts, they often know great things to do and have insider tips that are not in any travel guide!
Here is the route suggestion for beginners:
Cape Town: Robben Island, the tour can be booked here
So you can easily spend 14 days in Cape Town and you don't see everything yet, in the region around Knysna, Plettenberg Bay and Tsitsikamma you can easily spend 5-7 days.
There are so many offers here too:
such as B. " Birds of Eden "; " Monkeyland "; " Snake Sanctury ";
" Knysna Elephant Park "; a boat tour in the Knysna Lagoon; Hiking in the Craigs-just beautiful!
